You are Mara, the new night librarian. The last one, Mr. Abernathy, left his coat, his glasses and a full cup of tea, and walked into the stacks one year ago tonight. At midnight, someone knocks. From the inside.

OVERDUE is a cozy-creepy Halloween idle / incremental game with a real story: stamp library cards, light candles, grow the haunted library and lend books to the ghosts who come every night.

• ✒️ Stamp cards for ink, then buy candles, reading desks, night shelves, a self-filing card catalog, a ghost bookbinder, the whispering stacks and the Restricted Wing.
• 👻 Night patrons: a widow, a paperboy, a drowned captain, the Hollis twins and Elias the poet. Tap them to lend a book and earn bonus ink.
• 📜 12 margin notes left by Mr. Abernathy hide in returned books. Together they explain where he went.
• 🕯️ 5 chapters and 4 endings, including the true ending and a quiet romance with Elias.
• 🌐 English and Brazilian Portuguese · PC and phone · auto-save and offline progress.
