Haunted Overtime is a comedic urban fantasy visual novel. Ayumi is a broke design student who installs a sketchy gig app to pay rent, and accidentally signs up as the city's newest freelance exorcist. Paid per ghost.

👻 Meet the crew

• Ayumi: broke, sarcastic, statistically anomalous
• Hana: her hyperactive best friend, host of the paranormal channel Hana Hunts (12 viewers)
• Tariq: the AEGIS engineer who wrote the ghost app, and maybe shouldn't have
• Kenji: the brooding guy guarding a haunted library, who is definitely hiding something
• PIXEL: the sassy ghost assistant living in Ayumi's phone. She charges an "assistance fee".

⚡ Tap-to-bind battles

When the spirits attack, the story turns into a fast action mini-game: tap the ghosts, flying books, rift beasts and Riftglass shards before they grow and hit you. There's a Story mode for easier battles.

💜 Choices that matter

Haunted vending machines, books that bite, a faceless Director, a gate in the park that wasn't there yesterday. Every choice changes how much Hana, Tariq and Kenji trust you, and which of the 6 endings you reach, from heartwarming to "you're a ghost now, and the rent is still due".
